Most development works on the surface. It improves your visible performance, your technique. Gives you better language for naming the problem. That's useful, up to a point. Triple Loop Development is for the point after that — when the questions that you haven't asked out loud start to matter more than the ones you have.

About You

You’re good at your job – in fact, if you were honest with yourself, you might even admit that you’re excellent at it. That used to be enough, but recently it has felt like there’s something missing. The phrase “what got you here won’t get you there” keeps echoing in your head in a way it never used to. But you can’t define where “there” is any more, or what is the missing ingredient?

Maybe you’ve hit a ceiling in your performance that you can’t crack – no dramatic crash, just a slow, grinding halt. The instincts you trusted now feel unreliable, uncertain. You’re still delivering but it’s forced rather than flow. Output without growth. Progress measured in inches. It all feels so much harder, like running in treacle.

Or maybe you’re at the inflection point - you’ve made that move from Individual Contributor to manager, or the even more challenging leap from manager to leader. You’re supposed to be operating differently, thinking differently, being different, but no-one has ever really been able to articulate “the difference” anyway so how on earth are you meant to change what you do. And you’re trying to figure this out while your foundations are shifting beneath you. New systems. New expectations. More noise. The context has changed overnight and you’ve got to support your team through a complex new system while all you want to do is rage against the incoherence of your new “normal”.

These moments have a pattern:

You’re in uncharted territory where your old ways of thinking won’t reach.

The conversations you need aren’t happening in the rooms you’re normally in.

You can feel the opportunity somewhere inside this pressure, but every time you get close it slips away.

That’s where the work starts.

You need someone who can hear and name the uncomfortable things; someone who will hold up a mirror but who also knows how to angle that mirror to show you the things you never even thought to look for. You don’t want answers or validation - you’ve already got a Gen AI subscription for that. You want someone who will challenge the premise of the question itself, who will pull on the untidy threads of your thoughts and then help you to reassemble them differently. Clearer. You want to leave the conversations thinking “I’d never thought about it like that before” and then catch yourself returning to that shift because it won’t let you go.

You want change, not comforting. And you’re finally far enough into the discomfort that you’re ready to do something about it.

Leadership Development

Making that step from Individual Contributor to manager can be a real challenge, and many organisations like to provide help for their new managers.

In addition to this I can provide bespoke leadership packages tailored around your top achievers to help them make the transition from management to leadership.

2

Training the Trainer

You don't want to pay an external trainer to come in and teach or facilitate workshops when you have fantastic talent in-house. What you want is to help your experts get their knowledge and expertise out of their heads and into the minds of others.

With over 15 years of teaching instructors and teachers in the most challenging and complex environments on earth, imagine the potential we could unlock in your organisation.

3

Manager as Coach

If you are feeling overburdened by the workload of dealing with your team's problems in addition to your own work, you probably know that "being more coach-like" might be the answer.

But what does this mean for you, why will it help, and how do you actually do it when you don't have time for everything as it is?!

Accreditation

As a professional coach, instructor, trainer and mentor I view training and accreditation as both a very important part of my professional development and also as a key assurance of the quality service that you will receive.
